Bands for Bell 9 was once again a big success, raising almost $4,000 for Bell! Thanks to the bands:

  • Waco Brother
  • Kick Bricks
  • Bread and Butter Band
  • Seers Poncho

Thanks also to the Bell parents who idled in traffic, shoveled sidewalks, pooled babysitters and donned Arctic gear to get to Martyrs' for the concert on January 20, 2012, during the worst snowstorm of the year! It was miserable outside but we had a blast listening to some seriously talented bands!

2013 will be the 10th anniversary of Bands for Bell and we are looking for bands! Do you have a band? Please contact Kate Hill.

Market Day Schedule PDF Print E-mail

It's time for Market Day! Market Day, the monthly fundraising food cooperative, is a chance for you to help raise money for Bell School and stock up on groceries at the same time.

  • If you prefer to pick up your order at the monthly delivery to Bell, there are 2 ways to order:  online from the Market Day website or on the Market Day form sent home via backpack mail each month. If you order online, you can pre-pay using your Visa/Mastercard.  Checks and cash are accepted at pick-up.  After you order, either via backpack mail or online, just show up on the delivery date (usually the third Tuesday of the month) to pick up your order in the lunchroom from 2:45-4pm. See the complete 2011-2012 Market Day Schedule.
  • If you want Market Day products delivered to your home, you can support  Bell by ordering Market Day from Peapod and entering code MD10099.

Bell School receives about 10% profit from orders picked up at school and 5% of Market Day purchases from Peapod.  Either way, you get great deals on delicious food items.

Market Day offers a variety of promos and specials every month. Monthly features include pies, pizzas, and holiday items. There is also a "frequent buyer" program.

Volunteers are always welcome and needed for Market Day Pickup. Just come to the school lunchroom between 1:30-4 p.m. on pickup days to help get orders ready. See the complete Market Day schedule below.

Have a question or want to volunteer? Contact Cathy Pranskevicius.
