• Chicago Public Schools and New Schools for Chicago are pleased to announce the 5th Annual New Schools EXPO to provide information about non-selective public school options (including charter, contract, and performance schools).  These schools typically offer longer school days and/or years, smaller classes, thematic focuses, and are located throughout the city.

The EXPO takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 28.  It is indoors at Soldier Field, United Club Level One, 1410 South Museum Campus Drive. Admission to the event is free, and free indoor parking is available.  For those talking CTA, a free trolley will run from the Roosevelt CTA stop to Soldier Field.  The Roosevelt stop services red, orange, and green line trains.

At the Expo, students and parents will be able to talk with the leaders of more than 100 elementary and high schools and complete enrollment forms on the spot, well in advance of enrollment deadlines.  In addition to researching new school options, students and parents will also have the opportunity to attend worskshops, attend a Town Hall forum moderated by Fox Chicago's Robin Robinson, and meet Chicago Bears' Defensive Lineman Israel Idonije.
