Getting Involved PDF Print E-mail

Bell School offers many opportunities for parents, community members, and supporters to become involved.

Formal organizations include the Friends of Bell, which organizes fundraisers for the school, and the Local School Council, which is responsible for school governance.  FOB and the LSC each have their own section on this website.  LSC Committees perform many valuable functions at the school and welcome new volunteers.

In addition, the Bell Link and this website both welcome involvement, and after-school clubs and extracurricular activities (for the community as well as for students) do as well. Contact information for many of these groups is available on the Contact Us page.

Bell teachers welcome parent volunteers in the classroom and on field trips, and often provide a "wish list" of items needed.

Volunteers Are Always Needed!

Parents receive information regarding volunteering at Bell School in the "Opening Day Folder" that students receive on the first day of school.   Bell School depends on parent volunteers, and parents who volunteer get a great deal out of the experience. If you are interested, please fill out this online volunteer form.  If you prefer paper (in a slightly condensed format) or would like more information about an activity, please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it   your request to Michelle Daut. Thanks so much- your child's school will benefit immensely from your skills and expertise!
