Officially known as Bell Regional Gifted Center, this program is known at Bell as the "Options program". The Options program is an articulated program serving 240 students in grades 1-8 who have been identified as gifted through aptitude testing conducted by the Chicago Public Schools Office of Academic Enhancement.  To learn more about Admissions, use the menu to the left or click here.

The academics in the Options classrooms are both enriched and accelerated, but what most distinguishes these students from their peers is that they learn differently. This allows for great variety in instruction and content and leads students into deeper realms of learning. In addition to providing the students with appropriate academic challenges, the teachers and staff in the Options department are continually aware of the social and emotional development of the children.
