Congratulations to the girls 5/6 soccer team on their victory in the city championship! Bell, the defending champion, defeated Sawyer 4-1 at Lane Tech's stadium on Tuesday, June 10. With lots of Blaze fans in attendance, the girls scored the first goal early on. The rest of the first half was scoreless, but Bell answered Sawyer's only goal with 3 more in the second half. Great teamwork and excellent coaching by Mr. Antonopoulos and Ms. Girardini lead the team to victory. |

- Reminder for teachers: There will be no special classes or recess today because of the Fun Fair.If you have students that will not be participating in the Fair, they are to be sent to the student lunchroom with a note that includes their name and how long they will be serving penalty box. Please send work to occupy the student.
- The Fun Fair will begin at 10:00. Please wait for an announcement before sending students down.
- Please plan on picking up your students at 2:00 on the South Playground.
- Dunk Tank Children need to wear a blue wristband. See Ms. Wojcik.
- Teachers, if you have any textbooks in your classroom that will be discarded after this year, please send one copy of each type of book for disposal down to 101 after the announcements. We will be reviewing books to determine if they can be resold, and after that process is completed, we will then go forward with disposal. We hope to finish this process as soon as possible.
