- Saturday, members of the Bell Stealth played in a Youth Chess Foundation Institute. Approximately 30 public and private school were represented. Our Grades K-4 team finished in second place. At the individuals' level, third grader Stevan K. finished in sixth place and fourth grader Henry L. finished in fifth place. In the Advanced Division, fourth grader William S. finished second.

- Now that there is snow on the ground, this is a reminder that students can not throw snowballs at all before or after school or during recess. To summarize:
- Don't pick up the snow. Also itis not a good idea to sit in it as well.
- Please remember that students are not allowed to wear hats inside the building so please take off hats inside anytime you enter the building.

- Just a reminder that the first practice for Sign/Voice Theatre's Peter Pan will be held after school today in the auditorium 2:45 to 4:00.
- We are supposed to get a large amount of snow today but we are still planning to hold practice. If any changes arise, all actors and actresses will be notified. If you have any questions or concerns,please see Ms. Schmidt in room 113B.
- The FPS results are back and all of our teams did a great job. This year Future Problems decided to give recognition to those teams placing in the top ten in the practice packet. The topic was Cyber Human Rights.
- Bell had two teams placing.
- In the Junior Division our rookie team of Isabel D.,Sophie C., Catherine J., and Jessica S. came in 9th place.
- In the Middle Division the team of Hyunwoo W.,Max D.,Jackson M., and Leo P. came in 10th place.

- Good morning, I'm Liam R. student council president and I would like to thank everyone who brought in canned food for the Common Pantry. In only two weeks we brought in about two thousand and eight hundred cans. Congratulations to 5th grade who collectively brought in 523 cans. I would also like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season, and I'll see you back January 9th.

- Teachers and Staff: Today is Picture Retake Day and Yearbook Pictures-someoe will come to your to pick up your students.
- There will be a Student Council meetiing on Monday during morning recess. All officers and respresentatives should attend. We will meet in the auditorium.
- 4th through 8th graders, this is a reminder that Sign/Voice Theatre auditions will be taking place this Monday at 3:00. To those auditioning, you must have turned in a signed permission slip in order to participate. Also, no preparation is required. Just be sure to wear clothes you are moving in as we will be focusing on ensemble work and theatre games. We loook forward to seeing you next week!

- Do you have any perfectly good shoes at home that you have outgrown? The Girl Scouts are collecting gently-used shoes to give to people in need. Please bring in your shoes and put them in the marked collection boxes located by our entrances. We will be collecting shoes until December 14th.
- Just a reminder: Picture Retake Day is tomorrow! If you need to have your pictures retaken, please bring your photo package to the Main Office ASAP. If you were absent on Picture Day, please be prepared to take your school picture on Friday, December 9, 2011. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. O'Sullivan in the Main Office.
- Bell School hosted its annual 7th Grade Science Fair yesterday. Many of more than 90 projects were simply outstanding. The top ten projects, in ascending order, are:
